What we do
OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE AWARENESS ON HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN OUR COMMUNITY.
We do this through education, sponsored events, and public conferences for various groups that include school personnel, businesses, interfaith alliances, parents, and immigrant communities.
We commit to educating the community to act and help end trafficking of people, especially children.
However, we cannot do it alone. Human trafficking is a widespread problem and demands we collaborate with other parties. We work with local and federal law enforcement, the departments of justice, public health specialists, social workers, and other nonprofit service providers to help stop the rise of human trafficking – in our community and beyond.
Who we are
Gateway Human Trafficking (GHT) primary mission is to educate and inform communities about human trafficking. GHT plays a critical role to dispel myths and misunderstandings about crimes involving trafficking in persons. We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit where contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
We also focus on the youth – our future. We target business leaders, interfaith groups, social organizations, schools (teachers, counselors, administrators), and immigrant populations throughout the region.
